All of a sudden, I found myself thinking sociologically when I sitting in commons today. In commons there are many places to sit and that lead us make a table of our own. Today was the also the last day to buy your parking passes. Since their are a lot of people sitting at our table we had combined two tables to make one big table. then half of us left to get our parking passes. The rest of the people at our table moved the tables apart and kept the single table.
This represents the need for society to be influenced by one another. If half of the kids did not get up to get our parking passes the rest of the people would not have moved the table. This theory of everybody depends on everyone else is directly related to Emile Durkheim. He said that society would depends on everyone else around them through a theory known as Organic Solidarity. That is why my friends moved the tables at the end when half of us left to get our parking permits.

Nicely done! You've seen Durkheim at work :)
